What do you think, if some body gives you an opportunity to build your own Operating System for the PCs then what type of OS you will develop against Windows?

One day I was discussing the performance of Microsoft in the field of Operating Systems with some of my friends. At that day we have discussed a lot. We discussed about the different versions of DOS (Disk Operating System) and Windows. Some of us are seemed to inspire with the knowledge of Bill Gates and trying to prove that he is the king of software market. But there were a group of people who were saying that Bill Gates is not supposed to be the king of software industry. He made windows95 once in his life which is a bundle of problems and still today from Windows95 to Windows98, he is just playing with the files of it soft wares. He has money, he can do what ever he want. He can hire master minds.

But the question arises at that time by a person was something like that:

Ok. You people are saying that Bill Gates is nothing, it is money which is the back bone of Microsoft's creativity, and so on. But will you please tell me, if I give you a lot of money, say more than the money which Bill Gates has in his pocket, I give all the resources what ever you want and I made you the king of all the programmers in this world then tell me what type of Operating Software you will build. What do you think, what will be the infrastructure and visual effects of your new operating system.
